Bruges I – Five 600kW wind turbines – November 2000
The first Electrawinds project was the construction of a windmill farm along the Boudewijn Canal in Bruges. Five Turbowinds T-600 turbines were installed with a nominal capacity of 600kW. This project was carried out in November 2000.

Bruges II - Four 600kW wind turbines – December 2001
In December 2001 the first windmill farm was extended in cooperation with Electrabel. Nine additional T-600 Turbowinds turbines were installed along the Boudewijn Canal. Again, they are smaller turbines with a nominal capacity of 600kW.

Eeklo – One 1800kW wind turbine – December 2002
At the end of 2002 Electrawinds and Ecopower installed four Enercon E66 wind turbines. It concerns 1.8MW turbines. Electrawinds constructed one turbine which provides renewable energy for 1200 families on an annual basis.

Zedelgem – One 1800kW wind turbine – December 2002
In December 2002 Electrawinds installed a wind turbine at the Arend Industrial Estate in Zedelgem. It concerns an Enercon E66 turbine with a capacity of 1.8MW.

Bruges III – Seven 1800kW wind turbines – August 2004
In August 2004 Electrawinds constructed the at that time largest windmill farm in Belgium. Electrawinds installed seven 1.8MW Enercon E66 turbines. In this manner Electrawinds provides renewable energy for 10,000 families in Bruges on an annual basis.

Perwez – Three 1500kW wind turbines – September 2006
This project consists of three 1.5MW windmills installed in cooperation with Aspiravi. The windmill farm has an average annual energy production of 9.8GWh (9,800,000 kWh), which equals the annual energy needs of approximately 3000 families.

Gistel – One 2.3 MW wind turbine -
