Oneworld Energy Inc. Expands U.S. Presence

Oneworld Energy Inc., an emerging company in the design, management and servicing of wind and solar power installations, announced its expanded U.S. presence, appointing Roger Slotkin as CEO, U.S. operations, and its new U.S. headquarters in Melville, NY.

Mr. Slotkin’s role will be to grow U.S. business through M&A and organically. In Kansas, Oneworld’s Composotech Structures already provides maintenance and repair services for wind turbine blades. Oneworld is also developing a 200MW wind farm in Oklahoma.

Mr. Allen, President and CEO of Oneworld, commented, “Given our desire to increase our presence in the U.S., Roger’s track record within the clean-tech industry will be a perfect complement.”

Mr. Slotkin noted, “I look forward to working with municipalities and energy companies, as well as state and federal agencies to introduce Oneworld’s services to construct and deploy wind and solar energy projects throughout North America.”

“We selected Melville’s green-tech corridor due to its talent and community support within the clean-tech industry,” Mr. Slotkin continued. “In particular, we appreciate the efforts of Congressman Steve Israel to attract new jobs in the green/clean-tech sectors.”

“My goal is to see Long Island become the nation’s capital for clean energy. Oneworld is an example of the companies within the alternative energy industry we are attracting to our growing green-tech corridor. These businesses are bringing new green jobs for New Yorkers while also improving our environment and decreasing our dependence on foreign oil,” said Rep. Steve Israel.
